This Charcuterie Board is the perfect blend of modern and rustic, handcrafted from a solid live edge slab of Black Walnut, the highest regarded American hardwood prized for its rich brown color and stunning grain.
One special element to this board is that it arrives "unfinished", and includes our organic wood oil, so that you get to experience the magic of the reveal of the grain for the first time, a process that can only be done once. When you apply our oil to this board it not only nourishes and protects the wood, it also brings out the stunning color of the wood, which is a beautiful experience to behold, and especially rare to experience outside of a wood shop.
This board is handmade in small batches with great care. Each piece is as unique as a fingerprint, no two boards are the same. There will be slight color and grain variation between boards, they will all be dark brown in color when oil is applied.
The board comes with a jute rope for hanging, and arrives in a beautiful tuck top kraft packaging. Gift wrapping is available in checkout.
The board is lightweight due to its thin profile which makes it very easy to use and clean, and its large enough to load up with lots of your favorite goodies. Use it as a cheese board, a serving board, a cutting board, or as a natural piece of art on your kitchen counter.

The process and reveal with the oil was instantly breathtaking and fun to do with family around. I let the oil soak in overnight and have enjoyed it so far!
